EOLA PERFIDO
THE HUMAN CONDITION- -Eola Perfido is a street photographer who takes photographs based on humans and sights around the world, mainly famous cities such as Rome and Milan. The photographer may take his photographs in black and white so the people viewing the photograph focus on the aspects in the photo and not the colours. The colours in the photograph will be easily eye-catching as their would be so many different colours in the capture such as colours in the water and the colours of different buildings. The black and white makes the photograph look more impressive and more natural towards the people who are viewing. It looks more natural because you see more of the texture, especially on the wall where the woman is sitting. His work has got long length of fields because you can see more of the background and it will focus on the front of the photograph instead of the background. The background isn't focused which means the sharpness on the photograph is very low. The composition of the main subject is in the centre of the photograph which makes it easy for people to know that the woman is the main aspect of the photograph.
I experimented with landscapes to see how the black and white effect looked on them photographs and how it darkened different parts of the photograph. In my opinion, I think the black and white looks more effective on the landscapes then on actual humans as there is more obvious texture that is noticed within the photograph such as on the plants and the sky.
